Lawn Care Applicator / Technician

We are searching for people to work in our lawn service department. Prior lawn care experience is preferred, but willing to train an individual with a good attitude and work ethic.

Good driving record is a must.

Salary commensurate with experience.

A qualified candidate will be working with our customers, applying herbicides and fertilizers to lawns on residential and commercial properties.

Job will include: Using a rotary spreader to apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns. Spraying for insects, diseases, weeds. Other job duties may be added as required.

We also have other departments, tree care, irrigation, seeding so good opportunity for cross-training into other departments and learning new skills is a possibility.

Bedding Maintenance

We are searching for personel to work in our bedding maintenance department.

Good driving record is a must.

Salary commensurate with experience.

A qualified candidate will be working on commercial and residential properties; pulling weeds, planting flowers and shrubs, minor trimming and clean-up work, applying herbicides and pesticides, mulching, fertilizing plants and shrubs, customer service duties. Other duties as required.

We also provide lawn care services, such as seeding, fertilizing or weed control. Good opportunity for cross-training into other departments and learning new skills.

General Job Description
(for outdoor worker positions)

* Chemical Lawn and Tree Applications
* Irrigation System Installation and Service
* Sod and Seed Installation and minor Landscaping
* Tree and Shrub trimming

* Outdoor work - varying weather conditions
* Physical Labor - must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
* Lots of walking / pushing equipment
* Proper use of safety equipment (glasses, gloves, etc.)

* Full-time work / Monday - Friday (some Saturdays)
* General pay guidelines: $9.00+/hour depending on experience.

* No experience necessary - we will train
