The first application of our lawn programs have a crabgrass and foxtail pre-emergent included with them for helping to control those troublesome weeds. Every application includes liquid weed control for broadleaf weeds for any of those particular weeds present at the time the application is done. The liquid weed control can be "blanket sprayed" (sprayed on the entire property) if requested, but normally EPA regulations limit the amount of weed control that can be used on a property annually.

Traditional Lawn Program

Countryside's Traditional Lawn Program consists of five seasonal lawn applications providing fertilizer geared towards the type of lawn you have on your property (warm or cool season). These applications also include broadleaf weed control for controlling dandelions, henbit, chickweed and other broadleaf type weeds. Generally, the weed control is only "spot" applied to the areas where weeds are prevalent at that time. The first one or two applications of the season also include a Pre-Emergent control for crabgrass, foxtail and any other types of grassy weeds.

The applications are spread out about every 6 to 8 weeks depending on various weather conditions and types of fertilizers/weed controls we are using.

For best weed control, it is recommended to take all five lawn applications.

Weed control is not guaranteed with less than four lawn applications taken per season.

Elite Lawn Program

Countryside's Elite Lawn Program includes five applications of fertilizer/weed control (see Traditional Program above) and adds a grubworm control application and an aeration (either spring or fall).

The Elite program adds up to a total of seven applications in a season. The applications are spread out about every 6 to 8 weeks. In some situations, the grubworm and aeration may be able to be done at the same time as the Summer or Fall lawn applications.
